Everson, WA – On Deming Speedway’s third race night of the year, Jesse Schlotfeldt raced to the win in the Speedmart 600 Open division, capping a lightning fast night of racing on the track and off, as Mother Nature had wet weather impending. 

With a front row starting spot for the main event, Schlotfeldt had a tall task ahead of him with a talented and hungry field of drivers lined up behind him. Despite multiple attempts at taking the lead away from him from the competition, Schlotfeldt would lead all twenty five laps of the feature to score his first victory of the season, as the checkered flag flew at 9:05pm to end the race evening. Jared Peterson gave Schlotfeldt multiple runs for the elad but would end up settling for second while Evan Margeson ran third. 

In the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 class, Alex Lewis and Dakota Drake had an epic battle for the top spot with Lewis coming out ahead for the win at the end. Lewis and Drake went side by side for a number of laps all around the track before Alex changed lines in turn one, moving to the bottom to halt Dakota’s momentum with about 5 laps to go, sealing up the win for good. Drake and Jared Gundersen would round out the podium. 

The NW Focus Midgets were back for their third night of action on the year, and it was Jared Peterson piloting the Inlaws Racing #32 to victory lane with ease, leading all 25 laps of the feature unchallenged. Nick Evans would run second, mostly unchallenged as well with defending track champion Chance Crum coming out on top of a spirited battle for third. 

Cejay Adkins appeared to be on his way to his first victory at Deming Speedway in the Mytrafficman.NET 600 restricted class, but Corbin Ramsey had other plans. With multiple restarts held over the 25 lap A Main, Ramsey went to school and found a hole in Adkins defense on the low side of turn. With a restart coming at the start of lap 21, Ramsey found great forward drive and pushed past Adkins low, starting a chain reaction that saw Corbin gap teh field for his first Deming Speedway win and saw Adkins drop out of the top three, as Jesson Jacobson and Levi Kuntz both got by in the last few laps. 

Drake Hadlock scored win number one on the year in the Clean Crawls Junior Sprints. Hadlock assumed the lead on lap nine after race leader Avery Askvig flipped in turn two. Hadlock would go on the rest of the way to grab the victory, followed by Cooper Anderson and Karma Fagerlie who earned career best finishes respectively.
