Everson, WA – With the season winding down at Deming Speedway, Ryley Mayer is getting his 600 program wound up with his second straight victory in the Speedmart 600 Open division. Joining him in victory lane were Chance Crum in two classes, Levi Hillier and Kane Van Sickle. 

Mayer went wire to wire for the victory but it was by no means easy for the Granite Falls, WA driver. Spencer Constance tailed and pressured Mayer early and often, but Mayer kept Constance at bay throughout to score his second straight win. Evan Margeson would get by Constance late for second, relegating Spencer to third. 

Chance Crum collected two feature wins on the night, first in the NW Focus Midget main event and then in the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 main. Steven Hendrickson controlled the first 21 laps of the 1200 feature, but a lap 22 restart gave Crum an opportunity to slide Steven in turns three and four. Hendrickson crossed over and the pair were side by side heading into turn one, but Chance had superior forward drive through the top of turns one and two and would take the lead for good. Hendrickson wold take second, holding off Derek Holmwood who made a late bid for the runner-up spot. 

In the NW Focus Midget class, Crum also used a slidejob to take the lead, the difference being this slidejob came on lap two, not twenty two. Seth Hespe led first lap, but Crum slid past him on lap two then made the right moves in slower traffic to score the win. Jared Peterson would overtake Hespe in the late stages for second, giving Seth a third place finish. 

Levi Hillier became a first time winner in the Mytrafficman.NET 600 restricted division on Friday night. Keira Zylstra led the first twenty three laps of the main event, but had been leaving the low side of turn four open as the race grew long. Seeing opportunity flash before his young eyes, Hillier drove his car deep into turn three on the low side, and when Keira left the low groove open again, Levi struck. The pair raced side by side to the line to take the white flag with Hillier nosing ahead to officially lead lap twenty and continued wheel to wheel all the way into turn three as they came to the checkered flag. Hitting his marks on the low groove, it was Levi scoring his first win in the class, with Keira taking second place and Levi Kuntz racing into third. 

Kane Van Sickle continued his dominant run in the Clean Crawls Junior Sprints in 2020. Chasing down Avery Askvig in slower traffic, Van Sickle found a clean line past the slower cars and Askvig to take the lead with the race winning pass on lap 13. Askvig was a strong second with Fairah Lee returning after a few weeks off to run third.
