Everson, WA – IBEW / NECA and Kafe 104.1 presented racing at Deming Speedway on Friday night and as the dust settled on the night, the crowd walked away happy as racing across the divisions was fantastic. Brock Lemley came away with a win in a thrilling main event in the 1200 class, while Colin Mackey won the 600 Open, Corbin Ramsey swept the 600 Restricted and Chase Whitney swept the JR Sprints. 

The highlight of the night came in the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 division, where Brock Lemley and Derek Holmwood put on a show as the pair carved through the field. The two veterans were literally nose to tail or side by side for the first twenty laps of the main event, slicing and dicing through traffic while lapping half of the field before an Alan Lindquist spin brought out the only caution flag of the race. On the restart, Lemley  would capitalize on clean air to streak away for his second straight win. Holmwood enjoyed a hard fought second, while the intense battle for third place ended with Jared Gundersen taking the spot. Holmwood was the fast qualifier and won his heat race. Gundersen and Dakota Drake won the other two heats. 

While not the same intensity of the 1200 battle, the race out front in the Speedmart 600 Open division had some tense moments as well. In the end, it was Colin Mackey leading all 25 laps of the feature with Jayden Whitney taking second. Whitney was close enough a couple of times to threaten Mackey and never far enough back for Colin to feel comfortable, but it was Mackey leading the charge for the victory. Levi Hillier took home third. Mackey won his heat race, as did Macie Logsdon and Jared Alseth. 

Corbin Ramsey completed a clean sweep in the Mytrafficman.NEt 600 Restricted class. After setting quick time and winning his heat, Ramsey led all 25 laps of the main event, holding off Peyton Drake for the victory. Drake would settle for second place while Zoey Tupper ran third. Corbin was joined by his brother Dustin Ramsey as a heat race winner, while Karma Fagerlie and Cruz Kentch won the other heats. 

Also rolling to a clean sweep was Chase Whitney. Whitney was up front all night, setting quick time, winning his heat after leading every lap and winning the main event after leading every lap. Second place changed hands multiple times between McKenna Morgan and Cooper Anderson, with McKenna eventually coming out on top. Sawyer Baxter won heat race number two.
