Everson, WA – For the second straight weekend, Brock Lemley went wire to wire for the win in a thrilling Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 main event at Deming Speedway. On a night that the program moved rapidly, Lemley was joined in victory lane by Levi Kuntz, Colton Knapp and Madi Hoppe. 

21 cars started the 1200 main event and despite the traffic staying hot and heavy the whole way through, it was Mley’s veteran guile that helped him cut through the slower cars with ease in leading every lap of the feature with little challenge. Behind him, the battle raged on for second place with Jacob Buckenmeyer eventually coming out on top of Seth Hespe. The three heat races were won by Buckenmeyer, Hespe and Jared Gundersen. 

Levi Kuntz earned a rare clean sweep in the Speedmart 600 Open class. After setting quick time and winning his heat race from fourth, Kuntz rocketed away to the feature win after leading every lap. Second and third went to Levi Hillier and Macie Logsdon. Spencer Constance was the other heat race winner on the night. 

The Mytrafficman 600 Restricted class saw Colton Knapp improve his career best second place run from opening night into his first career win in the class. Knapp led all 25 laps, keeping a healthy distance between him and Zoey Tupper for the win. Tupper, last week’s winner, flip flopped spots with Knapp and took runner up while Clayton Jalakas came out of the B Main to run third. Four heat race wins went to David Greene, Joseph Johnson, Cruz Kentch and Sawyer Baxter. 

Madi Hoppe also improved on a career best second place finish to win her first Capstone Plastering JR Sprint main event this week. Hoppe led every lap with Kaden Riese keeping close company all race long in taking a career best second place result. Kole Campbell picked up his second consecutive third place result. Campbell also won a heat race, as did James Hayashi.
