Everson, WA – After an off week, racing resumed at Deming Speedway with Speedmart & Pacific Power Batteries Night at the track. Feature winners on the evening were Levi HIllier, Derek Holmwood, Jared Peterson, Colton Knapp and Lucas Fisher. 

After his Clay Cup win, Levi Hillier kept his momentum up in the Speedmart 600 division with a wire to wire win. Hillier took off to the initial lead and never looked back, taking the win in front of Colin Mackey and Macie Logsdon. Heat wins went to Spencer Constance, Skyler Jennings and Hillier. 

In the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 class, Derek Holmwood took off on the opening start ad never looked back, leading a mostly incident free A Main for all 25 laps as he picked up another win on the season. Second was Seth Hespe and third was Parker Hadlock. Hadlock won the first heat race while Alex Lewis won heat two. 

The NW Focus MIdgets made another appearance at Deming Speedway, and Jared Peterson continued his dominant run in the class. Undefeated aboard the Inlaws Racing midget since Early June, Peterson continued his strong run by leading every lap of the main event and lapping half the field in the process. Shane Smith and Levi Harless rounded out the podium, with Smith and Jeff Westergard topping heat race action. 

Colton Knapp recovered from the heartbreak of his Clay Cup weekend to win the feature in the Doyle Guffie’s Rallye Auto Sales 600 Restricted class. It was a wire to wire win for Knapp, who kept Hudson Little at bay in the late stages as the pair worked through lapped traffic. For Little, his second place was a season best and he was followed to the line by Brayden Danielson in third. Heat winners were Emma Chorney, Avery Askvig, Samantha Fraser and Jayce Medcalf. 

We had a first time winner at Deming Speedway on Friday night in the Capstone Plastering JR Sprints. Lucas Fisher took over the lead early from Delilah Stermer and drove away from his competition for his first career win at the track. Jordan Devries and Madi Hoppe had a spirited battle for second that saw Devries come out on top. Stermer and Fisher were heat race winners, as was Amelia Rudeen.
