Everson, WA – Familiar faces graced victory lane at Deming Speedway on Friday night. When the night came to its thrilling conclusion, Jared Peterson, Derek Holmwood, Levi Harless, Levi Hillier and McKenna Morgan stood as the night’s big winners. 

On his first race night of the year, Jared Peterson reminded the Speedmart 600 Open division that anytime he’s in a car, he’ll be tough to beat. Racing the Mike Granberg owned #28, Peterson took the lead from Jesse Schlotfeldt on lap seven and went unchallenged the rest of the way in taking home the win. Ryley Mayer and Schlotfeldt had an entertaining battle for second place, with the two drivers trading moves and slidejobs over the final few circuits before Mayer eventually took second, relegating Jesse to third. The heat winners were Schlotfeldt, Tyler Conley and Spencer Constance. 

Derek Holmwood went wire to wire once again for another win in the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 division. Holmwood jumped out to the lead and was never challenged in scoring the win. Jacob Buckenmeyer picked up his best finish of the year by taking second with Tyson Cross rolling to third. Buckenmeyer and Dakota Drake won the heats. 

In the NW Focus Midgets, Levi Harless led all 25 laps of the main event, but not without drama. Tanner Holm was hot on his heels nearly the entire race, and made one late bonzai move to the bottom coming to the checkered flag, but Harless managed to hold strong and scored his second career win at Deming Speedway in the division. Holm would settle for second with Shane Smith taking third. Heat wins went to Nick Evans and Alden Ostrom. 

Levi Hillier was dominant in taking his fourth win of the season at Deming Speedway in the Mytrafficman.NET 600 restricted main. Hillier would lead all 25 laps without challenge. Peyton Drake put on an impressive drive to take second ahead of David Greene in third. Hunter Cook, Greene, Rylee Kentch and Corbin Ramsey were the heat race winners. 

Chaos reigned in the Clean Crawls JR Sprints. The drivers were not on their best behavior and the feature was riddled with caution flags, but when the dust settled, it was McKenna Morgan using a late race pass on a restart to take her second victory of the year. Chase Whitney and Sawyer Baxter rounded out the podium. Cooper Anderson and Colton Knapp won the heats.
